With the seeding creativity grant, i will…

1. create a body of work primarily of Chinese knots made from broken electronic cables and wires. 2. Hold workshops at local art and cultural institutions on how to make Chinese knots. 3. While reflecting on my heritage and cultural identity as a first generation Chinese American through learning the techniques of Chinese knots, I want to share this traditional folk art with the general public and begin conversations on the global impact of capitalism and consumerism.
