My project proposal is a photo series that will connect stories of people/places - with photographs physically made using elements of the landscape herself. By employing a plant-based photo process (Cyano-lumen, Cyano-Anthrotypes, & Anthrotypes) using plants and materials sourced from each location, I am making literal and figurative connections to the land and the stories contained within. My hope is that this project materializes in a community-based conversation on land, memory, and sense of place within systems of privilege and oppression.
