produced a 15+ minute video/film entitled "Sacramento's Virna Canson: Mother of Civil Rights in the West."  The intended outcome of this project is to provide context and historical background for some of the inequities we see today by examining the unique role Mrs. Canson played in the fight to overcome racial discrimination and segregation in Sacramento and throughout California during the second half of the 20th century.
